The client came to us with an ageing, legacy application and every problem that comes with one, in a market crowded with EdTech newcomers all competing for the same students. They wanted to relaunch as a credible, scalable product where learners could not just consume material but measure their progress through assessment. They had also struggled to find a partner who understood the vision — and, operating in an education sector increasingly targeted by cyberattacks, they needed the rebuild to be secure by design.

We started by studying the competition and shaping the feature set into a clear, milestone-based roadmap. Working in agile, we wireframed and validated each flow against a real user need before committing it to design, then finalised the UI/UX with the client and broke delivery into predictable, budgeted phases. The result was a modern platform built around guided learning — recommendations, progress insights, and timely notifications — with security treated as a first-class concern throughout.

The new platform helped Confidence stand out in a crowded field. Guided recommendations and regular notifications kept learners engaged, while a dedicated teacher panel let independent educators expand their classrooms and earn through revenue share. Downloads grew 5×, revenue 3×, and — with security designed in from the start — the platform has run since launch without a single cyber incident.
